Reisai [Machi Hinata]

Reisai lives in Japan. She studied calligraphy under her grandmother, Shunrei, and obtained

the title of Shihan (Master Calligrapher). She was given the pseudonym ‘Reisai’ from her

grandmother. She has made POP displays for such items as Japanese sweets, prepared

foods and books and has earned a good reputation due to the items getting good sales

results. After child rearing, she made her debut as a calligrapher and now works holding

personal exhibitions and calligraphy performances overseas.

Major activities:

Featured on Fudemame software, exhibited at an opening event in Tokyu Plaza Ginza, in

charge of the characters on the game application ‘Hiragana Danshi’ by TBS TV, started

activities overseas, paintings and calligraphy accepted for the Exhibition of International

Calligraphy and Art, paintings and calligraphy exhibited in THE NATIONAL ART CENTER,

TOKYO, joined a calligraphy performance at a contemporary music festival in the Czech

Republic.
